Announcement on HKEX T+1 Session Enhancement Measures

Dear Valued Clients,

Please be informed that Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE) will implement changes to its After-Hours T+1 Trading arrangements starting from the T+1 session on Monday, 20 July 2026.

Key changes include:

1. The break between the daytime T Session and After-Hours T+1 Session will be shortened from 45 minutes to 30 minutes. As a result, the T+1 session will start 15 minutes earlier than the current schedule.

2. Selected equity index futures products will be available for T+1 trading on joint UK and US bank holidays, including the last Monday of May (UK Spring Bank Holiday / US Memorial Day) and 25 December (Christmas Day).

3. The T+1 price limit for designated equity index futures will be widened from ±5% to ±6%. The related Temporary Halt Mechanism for linked options will also be adjusted to 6%.
